Beyond the Skyey Vault
ω
In Ara, the Altar constellation,
lies what seems an open hatch,
with sensation of further creation,
to vivid azure patch
where rosy clouds drift, like a panoply
of outer space somersault,
enshrouded behind cosmic canopy,
beyond the skyey vault.
With its glowing wisps of gas outpouring,
NGC 6326
resembles another welkin soaring
in image to transfix.
From sidereal center binary
come emissions shown cobalt.
Blushing billows enhance the finery,
beyond the skyey vault.
That portrayal from Hubble’s telescope
displaying a vision of
stelliferous universe, in this trope
reveals a realm above.
Might it be some mystical masquerade
of a heavenly gestalt
with mists breaking through the stygian shade
beyond the skyey vault?
A planetary nebula, misnomer that it be,
does not remain in the firmament permanently.
Moirai, mutatis mutandis, of stars
are, as is known to sages,
transient in time’s everlasting memoirs
during countless ages.
Will sentient beings inhabiting space
forfeit their worlds by default
from failure to fathom their place of grace
beyond the skyey vault?
Entities likewise in Goldilocks zones
perhaps their options exhaust
via wars with demonic sticks and stones
wreaking a holocaust.
While hominid creatures can be splendid
if senses are purified,
humankind’s era could soon be ended
through its hubristic pride.
Ara resides close to Milky Way’s heart
where this red giant has died,
as everything born must also depart
in continuous tide…
From Earth it’s eleven thousand light-years
whither my reveries flee
to that wide-open window of the spheres
with vast unshuttered me—
an all-embracing utterness surpassing reach of minds,
deeper than the envelope of esse-self that binds.
And there in those whereabouts I’d abide,
great nature’s truth to exalt,
having entered enlightenment inside,
beyond the skyey vault.

NGC 6326, a planetary nebula in Ara…
Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō means to devote our lives to and found them on (Nam[u]) the Utterness of the Dharma (Myōhō) [entirety of existence, enlightenment and unenlightenment] permeated by the underlying white lotus flower-like mechanism of the interdependence of cause, concomitancy and effect (Renge) in its whereabouts of the ten [psychological] realms of dharmas [which is every possible psychological wavelength] (Kyō).
The reason that we continually recite Nam Myōhō Renge Kyō
This picture [of planetary nebula NGC 6326] was created from images taken using the Hubble Space Telescope’s Wide Field Planetary Camera 2. The red light was captured through a filter letting through the glow from hydrogen gas (F658N). The blue glow comes from ionized oxygen and was recorded through a green filter (F502N). The green layer of the image, which shows the stars well, was taken through a broader yellow filter (F555W).
